French Startup Azur Tech Concepts has created a device to help the hearing impaired by visualizing sounds, nibletz.com reports.
The new device, called SmartEar, has a large microphone that listens for important sounds around the house, such as doorbells, kitchen timers, fire alarms and knocks on the door.
The device can be programmed to listen for any kind of noise. It can easily be programmed to hear another voice in the room or a dog barking.
The SmartEar’s microphone processes the noises it picks up, sending digital signals to two alert beacons, smartphones and the cloud.
