LSH elected six members to its Board of Directors at its most successful Annual Meeting to date last weekend, with more than 60 people present.
In addition to the election, there were presentations by Larry Dicus, who has served as Lions International director for the past two years, and by LSH clients whose lives have been changed with the foundation's help.
Tricia Mandronico told us about the terrifying experience of losing her sight to severe cataracts just when she had landed a wonderful job, and how LSH was able to help her with the surgery she needed.
Ramona Jensen was not able to make it to the meeting, but sent us a powerful audio testimonial about living with deafness and how LSH helped her with hearing aids.
Larry Dicus spoke about inspirational Lions projects he saw in his travels.
We're delighted to welcome new board members Lily Harris, Steve Gutierrez, Dan Greenberg and Randy Rynearson. Larry Donoghue and Lidia Petrov-Jones had already been serving by appointment to fill interim vacancies on the board and were reelected.
Also reelected were our current President, Hal Stearns, and our current Treasurer, Gene Johnson.
