At Feel the Beat Dance Studio, anyone can participate, Denver's CW2 TV reports.
Deaf or blind, kid or grownup, regardless of any physical disabilities, all are welcome.
The big difference is in the dance floor. “What we’ve created here is a very specific vibrational dance floor,” says founder Jari Majewski.
The floor translates traditional sound into vibrations that can be interpreted through touch.
“Not just like bass, like the boom, boom, boom,” Majewski says. “It actually takes all different musical instruments and translates that into feeling through the connection of your bone in your body.”
In an introductory jazz and hip hop class, the soundtrack features pop stars such as Justin Bieber and Rihanna -- though the students have never heard the songs, and never will.
