Kerry Moore had tried everything to try to figure out why her son was going blind, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
She had tried ophthalmologists, pediatricians, a children's hospital and an adult hospital, light tests, genetic tests and various vision tests to find out why the Australian schoolboy's vision was disappearing.
One ophthalmologist told her that her son would just have to learn to live with losing his eyesight.
