1. Who does LSH help?
We help people who need eye surgery, and people who need hearing aids. Our clients are generally in the $15,000 - $20,000 per year income bracket, and they must reside in our service area, which is outlined on the map on our home page.
2. Does LSH have doctors or audiologists on its staff?
No. For clients who meet our guidelines, we fund eye surgery or the dispensing of hearing aids. We partner with many providers across Southern California to meet our clients’ needs.
3. Is LSH run by Lions Clubs?
No, but we have a close relationships with Lions Clubs. Individual members serve on our Board of Directors, and clubs throughout our service area provide funding for our programs and refer clients to us.
4. Who can refer someone to LSH for assistance?
Anyone! Many of our clients are referred by Lions Clubs, but anyone in the community can do this, including clients themselves.
5. How does a person apply for assistance?

6. Are donations to LSH tax-deductible?
Yes! LSH is a charitable organization as designated by Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Our IRS number is 95-2916098.
7. Can I see LSH’s financial records?

8. Who runs LSH?
Our CEO, Randy Stein, oversees daily operations. Our Board of Directors makes decisions about policies and finances. You can meet them here.
