"The obvious thing that sets me apart from other YouTubers is that I’m disabled," internet sensation Molly Burke told Allure magazine in a recent interview.
"I can’t see the makeup, and there aren’t that many people in the very crowded beauty space online that are disabled. I always look at the positives of blindness instead of the negatives. Rarely does somebody talk about the positives."
Molly was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at the age of four and had lost her vision almost completely by the time she was 14. Now, at 25, she can only see a bit of light and shadow.
"One of the best things about being blind is that I feel just as confident without makeup as I do with it," she told Allure. "My confidence comes from inside, from who I know I am."
