Michael Cleveland has won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Fiddler of the Year Award more times than anyone else: 10 in all, Interlochen Public Radio reports.
He’s played with bluegrass demigods Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley and Alison Krauss.
And he's been blind since birth.
He heard "Orange Blossom Special" when he was four years old, and "At that point I knew I wanted to play the fiddle, if only just to learn how to play that tune," he says.
