Players at Fremont, California's California School for the Deaf are used to being excluded. As younger kids, most of them experienced skepticism about their abilities as athletes. But now they are making the prep football world take notice, most recently in a segment on ESPN.
The show highlights what young people can do in an environment that accepts them and encourages them. Given the chance, these young athletes were driven to prove the can play with the best.
