A 17-year-old dog has been made an honorary police dog after he kept 3-year-old Aurora Bennett safe when she became lost in the bush in Australia, SBS News reports.
Aurora was reported missing after she wandered away from her family property in Cherry Gully, south of Warwick, Queensland last Friday.

Max found the girl's grandmother, Leisa Marie Bennett, and led her to the girl, who was a little over a mile from home. Aurora had only minor cuts and scratches.
