Automated captioning on YouTube videos often produces hilarious results. But if you're deaf, it's not so funny.
Rikki Poynter, who is deaf herself, has started a campaign called #NoMoreCraptions, Mashable.com reports.
She's asking vloggers to create their own captions, and teaching them how to do it right with an instructional video.
So far Poynter has recruited around 40 YouTubers to the #NoMoreCraptions movement. She's hoping YouTubers with larger audiences will join the movement.
