The photos. Which makes the whole experience a lot less fun for visually impaired users.
So beginning today, Facebook will start describing the content of photos to blind and visually impaired users, USA Today reports.
It works by using automatic alternative text, allowing people using screen readers on iOS devices to hear a list of items that a photo contains, such as "three people, smiling, outdoors."
