AT&T and the Deaf Professional Arts Network worked with the group to create a special music video for the band's latest song, "Different Colors," Roger Cheng writes in C/NET.
The video features performers dancing and rhythmically signing the song's lyrics, making it accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing.
Though there's a long history of music videos using American Sign Language, Cheng writes, this is the first to involve a large corporate sponsor -- AT&T -- and a high-profile band.
AT&T led the project as part of its "Feel the Music" social outreach campaign.
