A Tennessee kindergarten class surprised the school custodian for his birthday, KRMG TV reports.
Mr. James, who works at Hickerson Elementary School in Tullahoma, celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this week, WZTV reported.
As they sang the song, the students in two kindergarten classes signed “Happy Birthday” for the custodian.
Since Mr. James is deaf, it was a way they could show how much they love him.
He also is a good role model for the students at Hickerson Elementary School, principal Jimmy Anderson says.
