A new eyesight checking system uses the power of a smartphone together with a custom-built eyepiece.
The device won Best of Innovation Award at the Consumer Technology Association's CES 2017.
The EyeQue system tests and track's the user's eyesight, and the manufacturer claims it can order new glasses with the user's exact prescription whenever required.
The system is not yet available; its developers have started a Kickstarter campaign to raise the money needed to take it into production.
