BlindNewWorld is sponsored by the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Massachusetts, with the leadership of Corinne Grousbeck, chair of the Perkins Board of Trustees. Her son is blind and is a graduate of the school.
BlindNewWorld's website combines real-life stories about blind and low-vision people with interactive features, including a quiz to test users' attitudes towards people with blindness or low vision.
